BE STILL, MY SOUL

Richard Shain Cohen was the lecturer at the Maine Chapter of Association of Former Intelligence Officers

Richard Shain Cohen was the lecturer at the Maine Chapter of AFIO, September 18. The talk based upon his novel, BE STILL, MY SOUL, about World War II, covered espionage in Palestine, Germany, the European and North African Theaters and the U.S. homefront. He spoke of a female German double agent and an American recruited by the British and their importance in deceiving the Nazis. The discussion then followed some history of Palestine during the 19th and 20th centuries and followed to the present and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
